Japanese News Agency Kyodo Tsushin Reports Details Of Ukrainian Air Defence Exercises Quoting Defence Ministry Of Ukraine

The Japanese news agency Kyodo Tsushin, citing Ukraine's Defence Ministry, has said that in the course of Thursday's training exercises of Ukraine air defence forces "firing was done at least against 20 simulated targets". "But missiles launched during the exercises have a maximum range of 5,000 metres and this means they could not reach the Russian airliner," the agency quoted the Ukrainian Defence Ministry as saying.
