U.s. Embassy In Moscow Receives Envelope With Suspicious White Powder

An envelope with suspicious white powder has been sent to the American embassy in Moscow, RIA Novosti was told at the American diplomatic mission on Thursday. American diplomats said that on Wednesday an envelope containing suspicious white powder was found in the truck bringing diplomatic mail to the embassy. The envelope was immediately passed to the Russian secret services. Now Russian specialists are examining it and are to issue a conclusion rather soon. "It is the first time when a suspicious envelope arrives to the address of the American embassy in Moscow", it said. The embassy did not specify where the envelope has sent from -- Russia or abroad.
