One person was killed and two wounded when unknown assailants attacked a group of locals in the center of the Chechen town of Urus-Martan on Tuesday, reported the local administration on Wednesday. A group of men standing at a crossroads engaged in a conversation came under fire from a bypassing car. One of the wounded locals, Alu Asukhanov, was killed with a shot to the head. Eye witnesses say the assailants were dressed in black and wore masks. An investigation was launched.
