Pashtoon Volunteer Corps Occupy Part Of Kandahar

The volunteer corps of local Pashtoon tribes led by Hamid Karzai have taken a sector of the town of Kandahar, the last largest stronghold of the Taliban in southern Afghanistan. The Saudi news agency SPA, referring to sources in the Northern Alliance, reports that the Pashtoon units are supported by some 300 US marines.
