Unidentified bandits have vandalized several schools in the town of Tetovo and nearby villages in Macedonia. The bandits also opened fire at police patrols and damaged gas stations, police sources in Skopje report. The police are now looking for the criminals and seeking their motives. Information that the attacks were organized by young Albanians is being checked. The police sources remark that shooting at the places of dislocation of the governmental security forces in nighttime became customary in this part of Macedonia. The police spokesman also remarked that a joint operation of the police and the army revealed large stores of arms and winter uniform with emblems of the Liberation Army of Kosovo. Albanian terrorists used to wear such signs. Several sacks with ammunition have been found in the house of an Albanian detained under suspicion of being involved into the riots.
