Chechnya's Law&order Maintenance To Be Stepped Up At Night

A decision has been taken to step up law-and-order maintenance during night time in Chechnya, Victor Kazantsev, plenipotentiary representative of the Russian president in the southern federal district, said at a conference on Friday. The conference with the chiefs of district and village administrations of Chechnya was held in the Government House of the Chechen republic. Alla Vlazneva, press secretary of the chairman of the Chechen government, told RIA Novosti that the presidential plenipotentiary gave a positive estimate of work of the administration and the government of Chechnya. Victor Kazantsev voiced assuredness than in the upcoming year the process of rehabilitation in the republic will be sped up because its budget will be increased three times. The plenipotentiary called on the chiefs of local administrations more actively to help the Chechen government in arranging a life of peace. Victor Kazantsev spoke highly of work of the chiefs of power agencies -- Vladimir Moltenski, commander of the United Group of Troops, Prosecutor Vsevolod Chernov and Commandant Sergei Kizyun.
