Militants' Dugout Eliminated in Chechnya

Police officers discovered and eliminated a dugout of illegal armed formations in Chechnya. RIA Novosti was told in the Russian Interior Ministry that the dugout was spacious enough for 15 people and was located near the village of Kharachoi in the Vedeno district in the republic's north.

The dugout contained 20 mortar mines, 5 electric detonators and two radio stations of foreign make.

According to the data available to the law enforcers, a total of 38 items of small arms, 6 grenade launchers and some 8 kg of explosives were confiscated over the past 24 hours in Chechnya.
