Three rocket launchers and more than 300kg of explosives confiscated in Chechnya over past 24 hours

Three rocket launchers and more than 300kg of various explosive agents have been confiscated in Chechnya over the past 24 hours. This information was disclosed on Saturday by the regional staff of the anti-terrorist operation in the North Caucasus.

In addition, there were also confiscated 5 hunter rifles, 3 mortar shells, 9 hand grenades, 5 rocket launcher rounds, 16 artillery shells, an assault rifle and 18,568 rounds of various calibre.

Officers of provisional police stations carried out six search and pre-emptive operations having checked 32,263 people, 18,724 vehicles and preventing 213 administrative offences. Twenty-one illegal mini oil refineries and two home-made explosive devices have been destroyed.
