American robs bank to pay cancer treatment of 1 y.o. daughter

Saving life of one's own child sometimes forces people to rash acts.

The US police now investigates on the verity of good and desperate intentions of a 23 year old South Lyon, Michigan resident. Brian Randolph has a 1 year old daughter, who suffers a rare form of eye cancer disease, that is retinoblastoma.

This form can be found only in 2% of such young children, and Brailynn has to undergo chemotherapy 4 times a month.

Brian's daughter had her insurance come to an end, and her mother Asia Dupree claimed that she did not know how to act to extend treatment for the US budget funds.

As a result, Brian robbed a local Vibe Credit Union bank. He was detained in Detroit with 500,000 dollars. The man claimed he had to pay for his daughter's treatment and save her life.

"I guess it was desperation. Time was ticking right before her appointment came up," the mother said.

However, Lieutenant Christopher Sovik of the South Lyon Police Department does not believe the young father and revealed that there were found receipts which evidence his buying a Gucci bag, a pair of LeBron James shoes, and paying a two months' rent with that money.

He also added that bank robbery is not an excuse.

About 10,000 dollars have been already raised for girl's treatment.
