Officer of the year 2009 caught selling cocaine

Houston Police officer Noe Juarez, who was officer of the year in 2009 is accused of taking part in drugs and weapon trafficking.

Juarez also worked as a club security and was recorded with one of the cameras outside. The video shows how he handed over two rifles to an FBI informant, who pretended that they are to be transferred to Mexico. Juarez was paid $4,500 instead.

Another video evidenced his running the numbers of two license plates for the informant. The police officer availed himself of the database access and provided personal information of the persons owing $800,000 in drug money. Juarez got about $500 for each one.

Juarez reportedly cooperated with Los Zetas drug cartel members Efrain and Sergio Grimaldo, who delivered cocaine to a street gang in Houma, LA.

Noe Juarez is also charged with supplying ammunition, magazines and pepper spray to the drug cartel. The police officer managed to buy six automobiles as part of his remuneration.

According to the Houston police officers, Juarez has been providing police intelligence for years now.
