Portable anti-tank missile launcher found in Chechen cache

Chechen terrorists were hiding a portable anti-tank missile launcher "Fagot" in a cache near Novy Alleroy village in the Kurchaloyski district of Chechnya. According to information obtained by RIA Novosti from the Federal Security Bureau (known by its Russian acronym, FSB) department in the Chechen Republic, the cache also contained three unguided missiles, three grenade launchers and some additional grenade rounds.

The sources at the department said the information about the hidden cache had been provided by local dwellers.

During joint special operations conducted by federal forces and FSB units near the village of Novogroznenski in the Gudermesski district of Chechnya, soldiers found three terrorist caches. These contained a grenade launcher, an assault rifle, six mines, five grenades, several explosives, mechanical fuses, and assault rifle ammunition. Another assault rifle was found under a truck on the street.
