The Boeing Company (NYSE: BA, TYO: 7661) is going to buy Vought Aircraft Industries Inc.'s stake in a venture that assembles parts for 787 Dreamliner.

The deal is considered to provide Boeing with more power and influence over fuselage construction being led at the North Charleston, South Carolina plant.

Now the joint venture, Global Aeronautica LLC, will be equally owned by Boeing and Alenia North America, a subsidiary of Italy 's Finmeccanica SpA.

The deal is important for Boeing as its shares fell greatly due to the latest changes in production schedule and thus it involves the reclaiming of Boeing’s status.
