Patient with broken leg walked to purchase plaster

In town Ogr, Latvia, hospital staff sent a patient with broken leg a drug store to purchase plaster for himself.
The nurse told the young man having his leg broken, to buy the necessary accessories for putting his leg in plaster, Vakara Zinas reported.

The man broke his leg in a soccer game and came to the hospital for medical treatment.

Hospital Head Dinis Shurovs assured the press that the hospital has sufficient supplies of plaster and bandage, and the above mentioned incident was pure misunderstanding. The nurse sent the patient to by materials being alternative to the hospital supplies.

The patient has not complained about the hospital’s wrongdoing so far.
