Ukrainian doctors wanted to sell the child at $500

Three doctors in Makeevka, Donetsk region, Ukraine were arrested as they had tried to sell a newborn baby at $500.
Criminal proceeding was initiated against Head of Maternity Ward of City Hospital # 2, said Press Department of Ukrainian Office of Public Prosecutor in a RIA-Novosti interview.

Having criminal intentions, the doctors did not tell the woman recently confined that her baby was born alive. Instead, they brought to hospital another lady on forged documents, and registered the baby under her name. The lady paid the doctors $500.

Investigation of the case is in progress.
