Resistance forces, led by Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, exchanged fire on Friday (14th) with members of the terrorist armed opposition in the neighborhood of Abu Saleem in Tripoli, the Libyan capital, while the siege of the city of Sirte was being broken.

UN and Red Cross agencies were observed by the resistance giving bombing coordinates to NATO in Sirte. Some of them even fired on civilians themselves.

Bursts of automatic rifles and heavy artillery were heard in the vicinity of the neighborhood considered one of the main bastions of Qaddafi as members of NATO forces deployed to the area came with anti-aircraft guns.

Witnesses said members of the resistance and civlians, including youth, fought for hours against terrorists, both sides were using heavy weapons that seemed to cause fires and smoke in the neighborhood.

Local residents said resistance fighters came to Abu Salim hours before marching and shouting phrases in favor of Gaddafi. The TNC fired on the demonstrators, then a NATO helicopter came in to fire indiscriminately on the crowd. The helicopter was quickly shot down.

The resurgence of tensions in Tripoli can complicate the announced partial reopening of the Libyan airspace, due to a NATO decision to relax the no-fly zone imposed with the backing of the UN to launch the aggression against the country in northern Africa.

On the other hand, Al-Jazeera, the Qatari television station, reported that sources close to terrorists claim that they continue tracking the movements of Gaddafi, who leads the resistance since NATO faciliated a terrorst takeover of Tripoli in late August.

The TNC terrorists, according to Al Jazeera, monitor Gadhafi "by satellite" and presumably would have located him in Sabha, but it is evident to all but the western corporate media that their words are always lies and fabrications.

"We have confirmed reports that Qaddafi is in the southern desert. He does not stay in one place, he is moving with a small caravan consisting of his closest aides and bodyguards," said deputy head of the TNC, Abdul Hafiz Ghoga.

Meanwhile, terrorists were running and surrendering in droves in Sirte after continually failing to quell the outbreak of pro-Gaddafi guerrilla resistance in the city. There were ten helicopters firing on civilians that were shot down by the resistance.

Because of complaints against the TNC and and their systematic human rights violations and abuses against detainees, women from Misrata distributed leaflets in areas of Sirte calling for the cessation of looting, stealing, racist murders against blacks and the horrific, systematic violating of women.

Libyans are simple, easy going people who prefer freedom and principles over slavery and living in fear. They even give their enemies the opportunity to have a change of heart, forgiving as they are. This fine quality trickles up and down in a free, democratic society of the people, by the people and for the people which the Jamahiriya is, thanks to the leadership and guidance of Muammar Ghaddafi.

It would be wisdom for NATO to come to the realization that their efforts will never achieve the desired result. You cannot defeat a popular homegrown resistance under any circumstances whatsoever. Ask Hitler, Goering and von Paulus about that.

Perhaps those same europigs, now the Nazi aggressors, who are descendents of those that rolled over and played dead for the Nazi blitzkrieg, don't have what it takes to resist tyranny, but other people do.
