Speaking at a court session, prosecutor Dmitriy Shokhin declared that the prosecution had submitted a large amount of evidence during the trial, which irrefutably proves the charges against the accused. Although not all evidence obtained by the prosecution has been examined, the evidence that has been provided is enough for the court to draw conclusions, the prosecutor pointed out. Shokhin made an assumption that the defense had no plans to use its right to provide evidence to the court or to interrogate witnesses on its behalf and suggested that the court proceed with the next stage of the hearings.

However, &to=http://english.pravda.ru/printed.html?news_id=11222' target=_blank>Khodorkovsky's lawyer, Genrikh Padva, declared that the defense would certainly provide evidence to confirm its position.
