HyperDynamics Seismic Surveys Completed Offshore Guinea

HyperDynamics Corporation, through its wholly owned subsidiary, SCS Corporation, announced that Guinea Hydrocarbon Resources has completed the initial seismic survey offshore the Republic of Guinea. Offshore Seismic Surveys, whose seismic vessel "MV Gulf Supplier" was dispatched to Guinea, earlier this month, and has completed an initial seismic survey of over 1000 Km applying the latest 480 channel, 6000-meter digital hydrophone technology. The seismic data gathered should identify targets that match the recently reported billion barrel oil discovery offshore the East coast of Trinidad, South America, directly on the other side of the Atlantic. Formations exist offshore Guinea in the Deltaic structures that appear highly favorable for the accumulation of oil and gas. The earliest structures offshore Guinea are likely to be similar to zones offshore South America in that they were formed before the African and South American continents drifted apart creating the Atlantic Ocean. Neil Moore, the President of SCS stated, "We are pleased to announce that our exploration activities are progressing smoothly as planned and extremely excited regarding the upcoming analysis of this newly acquired data."
