Media-MOST Chief editors addresses Spanish Themis

Chief editors of Media-MOST companies addressed themselves to the Spanish Justice Minister and Premier in an open letter. "The only motive for Russian law enforcement bodies persecuting Mr. Gusinsky over the past two years is nothing but professional activities of journalists working in our publishing houses.," as was written in the letter. They see the only reason of the conflict between the government and Media-MOST mass media companies in the latter becoming "the most consistent critics of the disastrous family-oligarchic system in Russia." "It has become absolutely clear for us that all activities of the Russian government and law enforcement bodies against Vladimir Gusinsky are of a political nature," the authors of the letter wrote, RBC reports. NTV General Director Yevgeny Kiselyov, Chief Editor of the Segodnya newspaper Mikhail Berger, Chief Editor of Echo of Moscow radio Alexey Venediktov and Chief Editor of the Itogi magazine Sergey Parkhomenko put their signatures at the bottom of the letter.
