US asks Russia to stop air operations in Syria

The US authorities asked Russia to stop its air operations in Syria for a week in order to divide moderate opposition from terror groups.

The American delegation proposed to impose a ceasefire regime at the recent talks between the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and the US State Secretary John Kerry in Moscow on 14 and 15 July, as well as during bilateral ministerial meeting at the ASEAN summit on 26 July.

Actually, the US asked Russian Aerospace Forces to stop their air operation, after which forces of international coalition would do the same.

As experts noted, taking into account that the ceasefire regime has been in action for some months so far, the address evidences US wish to let groups, which are under its control, off the Russian Aerospace Forces' targets.

As Pravda.Ru reported, Russia has offered the US several times to undertake some steps on separation of the so-called 'moderate opposition' supported by Washington from terrorists.
