USA moves towards Caliphate

43792.jpegThe United States is a stronghold of tolerance, including towards Muslims. However, the latter time after time demonstrates bizarre twists. The owner of an Islamic television channel fighting with the negative stereotypes about Muslims has brutally murdered his wife, and Imam of "Mosque Ground Zero" that promised to be a bastion of moderate Islam, called to imprison those who refused to believe in Allah.

One of the most notorious trials of recent years has ended recently in the United States. On March 9 the court in Buffalo, NY, sentenced an American of Pakistani descent Muzammila Hassan to 25 years in prison for the brutal murder of his wife on February 12, 2009. The investigation found that the wife asked the 44-year-old Hassan for a divorce. He purchased two hunting knives, sharpened them to a razor sharpness, and then early in the morning he caught his wife in a dark hallway and stabbed her 40 times. Muzammil Hasan then cut off her head, and then went to the police and reported that he found his wife dead.

Even when it was proved that it was he who killed his wife, Hasan changed his testimony and began to assure judges that he committed murder in self-defense, the wife allegedly attacked him first, and he had to kill her. However, Judge Thomas Francique did not have a slightest confidence in his stories and the murderer was sentenced to the maximum term.

The most surprising in this story is another thing. Muzammil Hassan is a well-known persona in the States. A successful banker, in 2004 he founded and led the first English-language Muslim television channel in America - Bridges TV, the main objectives of which was the debunking of negative stereotypes and myths about Muslims among Americans. He fought tirelessly, spreading tolerance and exposing intrigues of xenophobia and Islamophobia, featuring cultural and peaceful images of American Muslims.
He was a close friend of senior representatives of the Islamic Ummah in the States, for example Khalid Qazi, president of the Islamic Community Council of Western New York based in Buffalo. Yet, this man did not share the ideas which he zealously preached to the American public.

Another story took place in New York City. Last year, one of the largest U.S. cities became a venue for the rallies of the residents angered by the decision to build a mosque at Ground Zero, where on September 11, 2001 the twin towers of the World Trade Center were attacked. Then in a terrible terrorist attack hosted by Islamist terrorists of al-Qaeda, nearly three thousand Americans have been killed.

In June of 2009, the Muslim Foundation "Initiative Cordova" has acquired the building of Burlington factory standing just 200 meters from the Ground Zero and that also has suffered in the bombing. They announced their plans to build a 15-storey Islamic Centre of Cordoba House with a mosque in its place. Despite the fact that many Americans compared the construction of a mosque on the ground of the attack with the construction of the Auschwitz monument to soldiers of the Wehrmacht in the summer of 2010, this plan was supported by the authorities in New York and Obama.

Imam Faisal Abdul Rauf, the leader of the future community of the mega-mosque in the heart of New York's kept repeating to the media that "Cordoba House" will become a place where people, regardless of their beliefs, will see a learning center, arts and culture, and, most importantly, the center where the Islamic values will be shown in their purest form - compassion, generosity and respect for all.

In the fall of 2011 the rallies of the residents and construction workers who refused to build a mosque "on the blood of the killed Americans" have subsided. On January 14, 2011 Faisal Abdul Rauf left his senior management position of the community of the future mosque (called Park51), and this post was taken by Imam Abdullah Ahmad. This appointment had the effect of this explosion.

Ahmadi began studying Islam at the Al-Taqwa in Brooklyn, whose imam was Siraj Wahaj. Back in the early 1990's Siraj has publicly stated that if Muslims were smarter politically, they could have taken control of the United States and replaced its Constitution with the caliphate. He stated that eventually one way or another the so-called democracy would collapse and the only thing that would remain would be Islam.

A New York attorney directly accused Siraj Waha in close ties with the blind sheik Abdel Rahman Oman, who headed a group of Islamists who in 1993 detonated a truck packed with explosives in the underground garage of the World Trade Center killing six and injuring hundreds of people. Now the disciple of this man was elected as the new imam of the mosque to be built on the ruins of the World Trade Center.

In November of 2010, the future Imam of Mosque Ground Zero gave a public lecture before the New York Muslims, video and transcript of which appeared on the site WorldNetDaily on January 23, 2011. In his lecture, Ahmadi explained that those who have forsaken the faith of the Prophet must be thrown into dungeons: "Those who preach their apostasy, promote their views - those should be put in jail." Leading the community of the mosque Ground Zero, Ahmad in his sermon at the end of January of 2011 did not fail to note that Islam was superior to any other religion, and Muhammad was above "all the prophets before him, from Adam to Noah, to Abraham and Moses and Jesus, and all between them."

How does this correspond with the words of Faisal Abdul Rauf: "Islamic values in their purest form - compassion, generosity and respect for all"?
