Airbus can not handle the plan to deliver 150 aircraft to China. This message has become one of the most popular news stories in China recently. Official spokespeople for Airbus said last week on conditions of anonymity that the contract with China was likely to fail. This year, they said, the company did not plan to sign the deal to deliver its planes to China.
The plans of Airbus to sign the fourth contract with China (since 2005) for the delivery of over 150 planes has been repeatedly delayed, even after the company opened an assembly works in China’s Tianjin. The contract was reportedly evaluated at $10 billion.
The demand on the production of aircraft-makers and the services of air carries has been going down in the world recently against the background of the financial crisis.
