The world will change completely by G20 summit in November

Anatoly Gagarin, Director General of the Institute for Systemic Political Studies and Humanitarian Projects, Head of the Expert Club of the Sverdlovsk Region, in an interview with Pravda.Ru editor-in-chief Inna Novikova, shared his views on the upcoming G20 summit, which is scheduled for November.

"The G20 summit is coming up in November. Vladimir Putin received an invitation to take part in this event in person. Will this event be a breakthrough or will everyone be saying what they are told to say once again?"

"We can extrapolate the recent G7 summit to this format, although there will be many more participants, of course. The G20 summit will be more interesting. We need to take into account an important factor: the summit is scheduled for November. A lot may happen before it begins, and many figures who want to take part in the summit may not be able to do it.

"This summit will give us all an opportunity to see how the world is going to develop further. We can see the world entering the era of multipolarity. Our president had warned about it before, but no one in the West listened. Asia, Africa and Latin America heard what Putin said, but the EU and the US paid no mind to those words. Yet, one can already hear even Western experts saying that the US dollar is no longer the world No.1 reserve currency.

"New world communities are being created to revise the conditions for the existence of former alliances. This will be happening at a much faster pace before November. There will be completely different contours of the world by the time of the summit.

"The President of Indonesia has recently visited Moscow. I think that many would like to establish new formats of relations with Russia, realizing that now Russia is becoming a stronger partner in all respects. The countries that do not belong to the Western world perceive Russia and our president positively.

"Sanctions boomerang on those who initiate them while Russia is getting stronger. This is not a paradox, but a pattern of modern economics and politics. Globalization will not be able to bring everyone to a new level. This is a dream that has fallen apart.

Globalization was conceived by the Anglo-Saxons as relations between countries that would be completely subordinated to the Anglo-Saxon world.

This dream has gone up in smoke, and many in India and China can already see it, while other countries start admitting it too. Africa is trying to establish as many logistical ties with Russia as possible. In Latin America, they dream of establishing long-term economic relations with us."
