Obama Grandstanding at the UN

President Obama's speech in front of the UN on Tuesday was a study in total detachment from reality.  The man is totally unaware that the rest of the world (not his mythical "international community" in reality only comprised of the FUKUS axis and its sycophants) sees right through the platitudes, the hypocrisy and total deception coming out of his mouth.  He and his staff are a total joke of parroting the approved "party" line.

What is really needed at the UN next is for Hugo Chavez to go in there after Obama has been present and alert us to the smell of sulfur, that the devil had been present, crossing himself in the process, so that we could all be spared from the stuporous cloud of delusion that affects the majority of the population in the west, these dishonest obfuscating pronouncments from hell.

Some of Obama's speech follows:

"But the attacks of the last two weeks are not simply an assault on America. They are also an assault on the very ideals upon which the United Nations was founded - the notion that people can resolve their differences peacefully; that diplomacy can take the place of war; and that in an interdependent world, all of us have a stake in working towards greater opportunity and security for our citizens."

Resolving differences peacefully and with diplomacy?  That was certainly the policy followed in the Balkans, when the US employed Al Qaeda mujahadeen in Afghanistan, then in Iraq, in Libya and now in Syria.  Bomb first, ask questions later.  Destroy infrastructure, water and electric facilities necessary for a civilized decent life, "break their backs."  That certainly sounds like the ideals and principles of the United Nations.

"Today, we must affirm that our future will be determined by people like Chris Stevens, and not by his killers. Today, we must declare that this violence and intolerance has no place among our United Nations."

No rational person on this planet would like their future to be determined by people like Chris Stevens...terrorist sponsor and facilitator and number one agitator of extremist elements, fundamentalist psychopaths who rape, burn, destroy and mutilate...all with the approval of his masters in Washington and the FUKUS axis.

I suppose Mr. Stevens thought it was funny to see women dragged out of their homes, raped, their breasts cut off, tortured and abused until they were mercifully killed.

Mr. Stevens must have thought it hilarious when men and young boys were beheaded, their sexual organs cut off, their eyes plucked out.  These are the kinds of people that Mr. Stevens supported.  Wow, what a guy.  Such a paragon of virtue and rightousness.

"Two weeks ago, he travelled to Benghazi to review plans to establish a new cultural center and modernize a hospital. That's when America's compound came under attack. Along with three of his colleagues, Chris was killed in the city he helped to save. He was 52 years old."

Actually, the bold, brave Mr. Stevens was fleeing the capital as he found he was no longer safe there.  The Green Resistance was closing in on him.

"And as we meet here, we again declare that the regime of Bashar al-Assad must come to an end so that the suffering of the Syrian people can stop, and a new dawn can begin."

Who is "we" Mr. Obama?  You and your sycophants are taking it upon yourselves to tell the Syrian people what to do?  Perhaps you should do something strange and unique, like letting those people decide for themselves?  It would be much better for the world if you and all the leaders of the FUKUS axis would step down and put an end to your regimes.

"We have taken these positions because we believe that freedom and self-determination are not unique to one culture. These are not simply American values or Western values - they are universal values. And even as there will be huge challenges that come with a transition to democracy, I am convinced that ultimately government of the people, by the people and for the people is more likely to bring about the stability, prosperity, and individual opportunity that serve as a basis for peace in our world."

This is the biggest joke of all.  The last thing you and the FUKUS axis could be accused of is is promoting self determination or governments of, by or for the people.  What Obama and the FUKUS axis promote is establishing puppet governments that will do their bidding, irrespective of the will of the people.  Governments who will allow the privitization of the national resources so that they can be stolen from the people by multinational corporations.  Those are your American and western values.

"In every country, there are those who find different religious beliefs threatening; in every culture, those who love freedom for themselves must ask how much they are willing to tolerate freedom for others."

We have certainly seen blatant examples of western tolerance for other people desiring other ways of life for themselves.  Democracy and the Bible, delivered by bombs and at the barrel of a gun.

Speaking of Iran, Mr. Obama said:  "Time and again, it has failed to take the opportunity to demonstrate that its nuclear program is peaceful, and to meet its obligations to the United Nations.
Let me be clear: America wants to resolve this issue through diplomacy, and we believe that there is still time and space to do so. But that time is not unlimited. We respect the right of nations to access peaceful nuclear power, but one of the purposes of the United Nations is to see that we harness that power for peace. Make no mistake: a nuclear-armed Iran is not a challenge that can be contained. It would threaten the elimination of Israel, the security of Gulf nations, and the stability of the global economy. It risks triggering a nuclear-arms race in the region, and the unraveling of the non-proliferation treaty..."

The US and Israel were not even there to listen to the speech of Mr. Ahmadinejad.  Do you call that diplomacy, especially as it is supposed to be exemplified at the UN?

The paragons of freedom and democracy didn't even want to allow Mr. Ahamadinejad to speak to the UN assembly.  Intolerance, thy name is USA.

A bipartisan group of 14 U.S. House members tried to block the Ahmadinejad speech to the United Nations, pushing a resolution on Monday demanding that President Obama pressure the United Nations to move or cancel his speech, saying it was "offensive" and "insensitive" for the "anti-Semitic" leader speak on Yom Kippur.

How can you claim you want diplomacy when you won't even listen, let alone speak to other leaders you are in disagreement with?   When you will not even allow those you disagree with to even speak freely?

As far at the non-proliferation treaty is concerned, why zero in on Iran when they have signed the treaty and allowed inspections, unlike US friends in Israel?  The answer to that is obvious.

In his UN speech, Iran's Ahmadinejad said "America entrusted itself to the Devil."  No truer words were ever spoken and surely Brother Hugo Chavez, as well as Mr. Ahmadinejad must have been able to smell the sulfur trail left by Mr. Obama.

Despite blackout attempts by the corporate media, western leaders and their mouthpieces, resistance is rising.  There is a Green Resistance in Libya, fighting for the right of the Libyan people to maintain sovereignty over their own country and resources.  They are brave, determined and I have to say one of the most admirable and honorable groups in the history of the world.  Under siege constantly, they still risk life and limb to see to it that all Libyans have money, food and shelter.

Equally admirable is the resistance being put up by the Syrian people and the Syrian Arab Army.  All should pray fervently for the success and protection of these brave fighters, wherever they may be found...Libya, Syria and even in the USA.

Such is the character of the growing resistance worldwide.  The Green Resistance stands as a model to all who would fight imperialism.  In every country, people are waking up and heeding the call for resistance.
