Poland's PT-91 tanks will bring nothing but big problems to Ukraine

Andrei Marochko, an official representative for the People's Militia of the Luhansk People's Republic, is convinced that Polish PT-91 tanks will bring nothing but big problems to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to him, Ukraine did not have such tanks before. Ukrainian military men do not know how to use them.

"To say the least, a certain period of time is required to train Ukrainian servicemen to use this type of weaponry," the lieutenant colonel said.

The issue of tank repairs will make another problem for Ukrainian military, even if the Poles guide them, Marochko believes.

"If the Poles participate, another problem arises related to spare parts and tank repairs. All tanks need to be repaired at one time or another, especially during military operations," he explained.

The shortage of fuel and lubricants for the Ukrainian army is another problem.

"There is a shortage of fuel and lubricants in the Ukrainian army because we destroy their fuel depots. The fuel that they have does not cover the needs of full-fledged military operations," he concluded.

Earlier, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, said that Kyiv received Polish PT-91 Twardy tanks based on a licensed version of the Soviet T-72M1.
