According to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov, the Ukrainian army is exhausted and suffers heavy losses.
In this regard, the head of the defense department announced the need to revise the operational strategy of the Ukrainian army, strengthen and rebuild it in a number of areas.
In addition, Reznikov demanded that Ukraine's Western partners supply it with even more weapons and heavy equipment.
"We need to upgrade our units, replace them and reshuffle, because we suffer heavy losses. We want more armored vehicles, more weapons from our partners. We need to rebuild some areas, update fortifications and plan a new operational strategy," Reznikov said in a conversation with The Wall Street Journal.
Reznikov clarified that now Kyiv is asking the West to focus on the supply of long-range artillery rather than NLAW and Javelin short-range missile systems.
