Russia sends to UN examples of hate speech by Ukrainian politicians

The Russian delegation distributed as an official document in the Security Council and the UN General Assembly a selection of hate speech examples by Ukrainian politicians and public figures, Dmitry Polyansky, First Deputy Representative of Russia to the world organization, said on his Telegram channel.

"I hope this will help our colleagues at the UN to better understand who we are really dealing with in Ukraine," the diplomat said.

Among others, the document cites the words of Volodymyr Zelensky dated November 29, 2021, who calls those who fell under the sanctions of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine "individuals".

"Do you call them people? There are different. There are human representatives. Not all human representatives are human. There are individuals, I think so," he said back then.

The Permanent Mission also cited the famous statement of the ex-President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko dated November 13, 2014 about the residents of the DPR and LPR.

"We will have a job - they don't. We will have pensions - they don't. We will take care of pensioners, children - they don't. Our children will go to schools and kindergartens - their children will sit in basements <…> This is how we will win this war," Poroshenko said.

The words of the former speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Andriy Parubiy, dated September 4, 2018, are also cited, who stated that he is a "huge supporter of direct democracy", adding that "the biggest person who practiced direct democracy was Adolf Aloizovich (Hitler) in the 1930s years".

The document also contains quotes from many other Ukrainian politicians.
