The Ukrainian National Police prevented a terrorist attack against the country's leadership. This was reported today, June 15, by RIA Novosti with reference to the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yevgeny Enin.
"To a large extent, thanks to the information received from our operational sources, we even managed to prevent a terrorist attack against the governance of our state," the deputy minister said.
However, the military official did not give any details, noting that all information about the prevention of a terrorist act against the leadership of Ukraine would be later.
There are 123 counter-sabotage groups currently operating in the National Police, which number at least 1,500 people, Yenin said. According to him, over 800 people suspected of sabotage and intelligence activities have been detained over the past few months.
