CyberBerkut hackers published a document on its Facebook page saying that Kiev receives state-of-the-art military equipment from Germany. This is evidenced by correspondence between the commander of the National Guard of Ukraine, General Stepan Poltorak, and representative of German company TELEFUNKEN RACOMS, Ronny Symroth.
It goes about shipments of dual-purpose military products to Ukraine, particularly portable ground surveillance radar systems and advanced thermal imaging cameras CORAL-CR. The sides also discussed opportunities for further cooperation and supplies of other types of military equipment, the hacker group said.
The hackers published the document in English and provided its translation into Russian. They also published press releases of the weapons in question.
For example, a portable ground surveillance radar provides integrated target tracking system and collects information in real time for armed forces, special operations forces and security services. Its functions include border protection, protection of special objects and battlefield view.
Upgraded thermal imaging camera with optical zoom and ability to capture and track targets, CORAL-CR, is designed to monitor battlefield, detect and track targets. The system is used by the armies of several NATO members.
