Lenin's autograph available for $109,000

The most expensive autograph made by a politician is the one by the leader of the Social Democratic Party of Bolsheviks, Vladimir Lenin.  According to a study conducted by the online store of authentic autographs stars, Autographomania, an autograph by Vladimir Lenin costs about 3.5 million rubles ($109,000).

The second most expensive autograph is the one of the fighter for the independence of the United States of America, the country's third president Thomas Jefferson, which he put on a land grant about the delivery of land in northwest Ohio to Benjamin Stenson. The autograph cost at the last auction 1.7 million rubles ($53,000).

The top three also includes the liberator of American slaves, the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln, whose autograph is worth 790,000 rubles ($25,000). 

The top ten list also includes autographs by U.S. presidents George Washington (619,000 rubles), Barack Obama (317,000 rubles), Ronald Reagan (301,000), Bill Clinton (277,000) and Leonid Brezhnev (142,000), Arnold Schwarzenegger (131,000) and Russian President Vladimir Putin (51,000).
