Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg became a taxi driver for one day. The Prime Minister took this step as part of his preelection campaign. According to Stoltenberg, it is taxi drivers who very often listen to what people think about the situation in the country as it is.
During the rides, the prime minister, dressed in a special uniform, was discussing economic and political issues with his passengers. He also wondered whom the people were going to vote for at the upcoming elections. If some of the passengers would recognize the prime minister in the driver, Stoltenberg would immediately turn the cards over.
The Norwegians liked Stoltenberg's experiment. However, a third of the Prime Minister's passengers pointed out that his driving skills left much to be desired.
