In the village of Novoselki of the Nizhny Novgorod region, a new cultural center opened. The center was built as part of the implementation of a pilot project for the construction of a recreation center in small settlements.
"I am confident that we must continue this program. This program is just as important and necessary as the construction of sports and recreation centers. We must raise a healthy, well-educated and spiritually rich generations. This is our human capital. If we win this competition, then we will achieve victory in everything else," Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Valery Shantsev said.
The implementation of the project is aimed at providing access to cultural events and creative activities in small settlements, the material basis of which is either absent or outdated. Such centers will be used to hold local festivities and concerts, choir, theatrical, musical classes, etc.
"When we speak about cultural leisure, about attracting children to creative work, it is important to create conditions for that. I have visited the cultural center and found quite reasonable solutions for planning. There are rooms for classes and a large concert hall. The house of culture was built next to the school building - the location was obviously chosen correctly. I think that this club will be filled with children's laughter and our veterans' smiles," said Shantsev.
