Russia's permanent representative to the UN Vitaly Churkin told reporters that Russia was going to request a report from the UN on the progress made in the investigation of the Malaysian Airlines Boeing 777 crash in Ukraine.
"We will ask for a briefing of the Secretariat on the progress in the implementation of the resolution. A month has passed since the destruction of the Malaysian airliner. Paragraph 13 of the resolution stipulates that the Secretary General should report to the Council on the progress in investigation. Hopefully, this will take place today," said the Russian diplomat, ITAR-TASS reports.
