In the Ivanovo region, an industrial park will be built that will specialize on the production of technical textiles and materials made of chemical fibers. The factory for the production of polyethylene terephthalate will become the backbone of the project. According to specialists, the industrial park will lay the foundation to the creation of the textile industry cluster to take the main industry of the Ivanovo region to a new level of development.
"Any initiative of this kind, especially if it is supported with concrete actions, is only welcome. One needs to do everything possible to create clusters, holdings, including with the support of the state, for the creation of such productions, member of the State Duma Committee on Industry, Oleg Savchenko said. - The Ivanovo region has a huge potential connected to the textile brand of the Ivanovo region. Now one needs to use this chance. The State Duma and the Committee for Industry have always supported such initiatives."
The investment project of the factory of synthetic fiber is a priority for the region. The factory is to be put in operation in 2016.
