Winter has returned to Moscow. Nature, has apparently decided to compensate for the lack of snow in January and celebrated the beginning of April with an unusually heavy snowfall.
It started snowing in Moscow on March 31 at night; more than 3 cm of snow covered the ground in a few hours. The snow did not stop at night and Moscow woke up in Winter Wonderland on April 1st. The layer of snow makes up about 10 cm.
As weather forecasters say, the spring snowfall may last until noon today, and snowdrifts can grow for about two more centimeters. During the day, temperatures in the capital will make up 2-4 degrees above zero Centigrade, but will fall at night to minus 7.5 degrees.
