Russian President Vladimir Putin and executive director of Greenpeace Kumi Naidoo are not planning a meeting. Putin does not have the meeting with Naidoo in his work schedule, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
Naidoo had written a letter to the Russian president with a request to meet and discuss the case of Arctic Sunrise.
Eleven Nobel Peace Prize winners had previously written a letter to the Russian authorities as well. They asked to drop charges of piracy from the arrested Greenpeace activists. Peskov said that he did not know anything about the letter.
