Russian President Vladimir Putin was named the world's most influential person by Forbes magazine.
Putin was ranked ahead of last year's leader, U.S. President Barack Obama (second place) and Chinese leader Xi Jinping (third place).
The list of Forbes includes 72 political, economic and social figures.
In addition to Putin, Russia is represented on the list by Rosneft President Igor Sechin (60th place), Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev (53rd place) and Russian wealthiest businessman Alisher Usmanov (63rd place).
In November 2010, Putin was ranked fourth in the ranking of world's most influential people of Forbes magazine. In 2011, Putin took the second place of the list.
In 2013, Russian President was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.
