The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) used a kamikaze drone to attack houses in the city of Energodar, representatives for the city administration said, RIA Novosti reports.
"At 14.20, the Armed Forces of Ukraine again used a kamikaze drone in the residential area of the city of Energodar,” a spokesman for the city administration said.
Earlier it was reported that two drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked a building near the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. Aleksey Selivanov, deputy head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Zaporozhye region, accused the Ukrainian troops of trying to attack the nuclear power plant using Polish-made kamikaze drones. The attack was thwarted, the official added.
Meanwhile, two people were killed and two others were injured as the Armed Forces of Ukraine shelled the town of Stakhanov in the Luhansk People's Republic.
According to the official Telegram channel of the LPR in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire Regime, the shelling began on the afternoon of June 12. In total, six rockets were fired. They damaged eleven residential buildings, as well as a kindergarten and a school.
