Hebdo attack directed from Yemen
Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula has declared that the attack against the French satyrical magazine Charlie Hebdo was directed from al-Qaeda cells in Yemen, as "revenge" for the honor of the Prophet Muhammed.
It was stated in an interview to AP that one of the Kouachi brothers involved in the massacre had travelled to Yemen in 2011. Said Kouachi it appears was trained in Yemen by al-Qaeda cells and was sent back to France to prepare for an attack.
Sheikh Harith al-Nadari sent a Tweet after the attack speaking about the "filthy French", a "blessed raid", "the heads of infidelity", the "hero mujahedeen", who "taught them a lesson".
