Today, on July 16th, Moscow is mourning the victims of the deadly accident in the Moscow metro. The death toll from the train crash has climbed to 22 people, over 140 still remain at hospitals. Muscovites bring flowers and candles to metro stations "Slavyansky Boulevard" and "Park Pobedy". Three cars derailed in the tunnel between the two stations for an unknown reason in the morning of July 15.
The stations remain closed, and people leave flowers in a small garden near "Park Pobedy" station and near the entrance to the station. Many are crying.
On the day of mourning, flags will fly at half mast throughout the city. All entertaining events in the city have been canceled. Many clubs and restaurants changed their traditional evening programs. All churches of the Russian capital today will hold services to pray for those who lost their lives or suffered injuries in the deadliest metro accident in many years.
