In the town of Trekhgorny, in Russia's Chelyabinsk region, a fighting dog mauled a 58-year-old woman to death.
In the evening of December 8, the woman, who worked as a milkmaid, was coming home from work. The farm, where she worked, was located in a suburban forest, where residents keep dogs in cages. One of the owners was walking six dogs without muzzles. One of the dogs - a Bullmastiff - attacked the woman, reports NTV.
The victim, who received more than 40 bites, was taken to hospital, but died on Sunday night. Investigation is underway.
In late November, a similar incident occurred in Russia's Far East. A Rottweiler killed a man who was having dinner with the woman, who was keeping the dog.
