McDonald's restaurants in Russia continue to close one after another

The administrations of McDonald's restaurants in Kazan and Yekaterinburg did not wait for inspections of Rospotrebnadzor (Russian Federal Agency for Consumer Rights Protection) and suspended their work themselves. The reasons have not been specified, LifeNews reports.

In Kazan, an ad on the door of McDonald's restaurant on Pavlyukhin Street says that the restaurant would be closed for the next three days. Representatives of Rospotrebnadzor in the Republic of Tatarstan said there were no inspections conducted at the restaurant. Inspections were held at other restaurants of the chain last week, officials added. In particular, at a restaurant in the city of Nizhnekamsk, E. coli was found in chicken nuggets.

The McDonald's on Pavlyukhin Street was to be examined only in a week.

In the Ural region of Russia, McDonald's restaurants are closing as well. In Yekaterinburg, an ad on the door of one of the closed restaurants says that the restaurant was closed for technical reasons.
