International Business Summit ends in Nizhny Novgorod

The international activities of the Nizhny Novgorod region were highly estimated by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.

"The work in this direction in the Nizhny Novgorod region is organized at a high level. The region has many foreign partners, foreign delegations visit the Nizhny Novgorod region very often," the director of the Department of the Ministry for Economic Development of Russia, Elena Danilova, said at a business summit in Nizhny Novgorod.

According to her, holding the business summit also proves the development of the region. Danilova also pointed out the significance of such participants as representatives of small and medium-sized businesses from abroad, Vremya-N said.

"It is very important for us to discuss the questions of regional and international cooperation. Basically, we're doing the same job, but at different levels and it is extremely important for us to share experiences," added the director of the department of international relations of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Irina Negrebetskaya added.

The International Business Summit took place in Nizhny Novgorod on September 27-29. The summit was organized by the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod region. Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich, Deputy Minister of Communications and Mass Communications Mark Shmulevich, Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Businessmen Boris Titov, the governor of the Krasnoyarsk region Lev Kuznetsov, representatives of federal and regional authorities, business leaders, the heads of small and medium-sized businesses, investors, analysts, representatives of the federal, regional and international media attended the forum - a total of about 5000 people.
