Iran calls attention to aggressive plans of the U.S. and Israel

"Some Persian Gulf countries are supporting U.S. plans in the region and it harms the countries of the region", the Chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, the national parliament, Alaedin Boruyerdi said on Saturday (27th). Crimes and discord are the buzzwords of the day...

In a meeting with members of the Guardian Naval Forces Corps of the Islamic Revolution of Iran (IRGC), installed in the three Iranian islands (Tonb Major, Minor and Tonb Abu Musa), located in southern Iran, Boruyerdi highlighted that "crimes and discord committed by the United States and the Israeli regime in the region, with the support of some local countries, will negatively revert back to their own countries.

The United States and Israel try to trick the leaders of some Islamic countries in order to achieve their imperialist interests in the region, says the Persian leader. He also recalls that "the demonstrations and regional events reveal new conspiracies, whose ultimate goal is to strike Iran."

Supporters of the United States and Israel in the region should be aware that if they follow this path, they will face irreparable consequences.

Referring to the good record of the IRGC naval forces in fighting the aggressors in the Persian Gulf and Oman Sea, he states that the provision of these forces in strategic areas animates the Iranian nation.

The members of the National Security and Foreign Policy of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran on Saturday met with the IRGC and Naval Forces installed there on these Persian islands.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese army arrested an Israeli man after he crossed the border into Ras al-Naqoura, Lebanon's National News Agency reports.  Israel has been creating incidents with Lebanon, firing flares into Lebanon while 12 Israeli jets violated Lebanese air space.

The airspace violations, which are reported on an almost daily basis, contravene the United Nations Security Council's Resolution 1701, which ended the Israeli war on Lebanon in 2006.

According to evidence-backed statistics submitted to the UN by the Lebanese government in 2009, Israel had breached the provisions of the resolution on more than 7,000 occasions by violating Lebanon's airspace, territorial waters, and land border.

A man, identified as Ali Taufiq Yari, was paid some 600,000 US dollars for passing on classified information about the Hezbollah resistance movement and the Lebanese Army to the Tel Aviv regime, Al-Manar television network reported on Monday.
