Perseid meteor shower: Show from space

You have lost a lot if you slept last night. In different parts of the world, one could enjoy the view of perseid meteor shower on August 12 overnight. As usual clouds are the only obstacle to enjoy the heavenly extravaganza.

Yet, the space show was stunning in the places where meteor shower showed itself in all its glory. If you missed the phenomenon last night, you can catch next year, as the meteor shower occurs every year thanks to Swift-Tuttle comet. Astronomers say that one can see meteors in the sky  through August 17. Don't forget to make a wish when it gets dark.
