S-400 system on guard of Moscow

On July 8th, Russia marked the 55th anniversary of the creation of Anti-Aircraft and Missile Troops. One of the finest pieces of Russian antiaircraft hardware is the world-known S-400 Triumf system (NATO reporting name SA-21 Growler). The S-400 uses three different missiles to cover its entire performance envelope. These are the extremely long range 40N6, long range 48N6 and medium range 9M96 missile.
