The three Russian sides in the Europa League are through to the last 16. Zenit Saint Petersburg, Anzhi Makachkala and Rubin Kazan had done enough in the first legs to guarantee their presence among Europe's best clubs, despite the two defeats and Anzhi's away draw, eliminating Liverpool, Hannover and holders Atlético.
