Seven goals from Bayern - Pepe Guardiola is doing at Bayern what he did at Barcelona and since the German squad is based on Bayern, is he doing for Germany what he did for Spain (based on Barça)? Arsenal are still setting the pace in the Premiership, the Russian Premiership hots up.
Premiership (After 15 matches)
Arsenal FC is five points clear (35) at the top of the Premiership after 15 games after a home draw 1-1 with Everton (28). Liverpool FC is second (30) after beating West Ham United 4-1, while Chelsea (30) lost at Stoke City 3-2. Manchester City (29) was held 1-1 at Southampton.
La Liga (After 15 matches)
It's still Barça, Atlético and Real 1,2,3, but with a very different aspect from last week. Barcelona remains on 40 points after going down 1-0 in Bilbao. Atlético is now equal on 40 points (2-0 winners at Elche) and Real, with a hat-trick from Gareth Bale, beat Valladolid 4-0 and has 37 points.
Bundesliga (After 15 matches)
Disaster for Dortmund (31) which lost touch with the leading duo after Bayern (41) thrashed Bremen 7-0 away and after losing at home to second-placed Leverkusen 0-1, giving Leverkusen a 6-point advantage (37) in second place. Borussia Mönchengladbach pulls up into fourth equal on points with Borussia Dortmund after beating Schalke 2-1.
Serie A (After 15 matches)
Juventus (40) and Roma (37) pulled further ahead of Napoli (32), slipping gradually behind in third place, but not yet out of contention for the Italian Premiership. Juve beat Bologna 2-0 away, Roma received Fiorentina (2-1) while Napoli drew 3-3 at home with Udinese.
Ligue 1 (After 17 matches)
Wins for PSG and Monaco in France sees Monaco jump into second place. PSG (40) thrashed Sochaux 5-0; Monaco (38) beat Ajaccio 1-0, Lille (36) went down 1-0 at Bordeaux.
Primeira Liga (After 12 matches)
FC Porto has regrouped and beaten Sporting de Braga 2-0, thereby claiming second place (27) equal with Benfica (disappointing home draw 2-2 with Arouca) leaving Sporting CP two points ahead (29) after beating Gil Vicente 2-0 away in Barcelos.
Russian Premier League (After 19 matches)
The Russian Premier is hot, hot, hot. Zenit recovered with a 2-1 win over Ural and is equal first (40 points) with Lokomotiv (drawless home game with Rubin). Spartak Moskva is third with 39 points (1-0 winner at Rostov). Dinamo Moskva (35) beat Amkar 2-0 in Moscow, while CSKA (34) lost 1-0 at Krasnodar.
Fenerbahçe leads the Turkish league increasing the gap to seven points (35) over Kasimpasa SK after all teams have played 14 games.
In Armenia FC Ararat leads, 8 points clear, with 30 points from 14 games; in Azerbaijan, Qarabag leads with 33 points from 16 games, one ahead of Qäbälä; in Belarus after 32 games, BATE Borisov is the Champion and is 9 points clear (67).
After 32 games in Kazakhstan, FC Aktobe is champion after finishing 1 point ahead of FC Astana.
In Ukraine after 18 games, the top spot belongs to Shakhtar Donetsk (41 points), five points ahead of Dynamo Kyiv. Metalist Kharkiv (36) and Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk (35) follow in third and fourth place, both with a game in hand.
