Vladimir Putin addresses the Nation

In his annual address to the Federal Council Vladimir Putin declared that there will be no revision of the fundamental principles of Russian politics.

“Strengthening of our State system is often being purposely misinterpreted as authoritarianism,” stated the president.

Devotion to democratic valuables has been dictated by the will of our people, remarked Putin.

“There will be no revision of fundamental principles of our politics,” stated he.
