US armed forces murder another Iraqi family

It is not a happy new year for yet another family of civilians, murdered by a US pilot yesterday as they were enjoying themselves in their home in Beiji, northern Iraq. The bodies of women and children were pulled from the rubble by irate residents, infuriated by yet another flagrant case of disrergard for human life demonstrated by the US Armed Forces commanded by the Bush regime.

Local sources state that at least eight civilians (a boy, a girl, three women and three men) were murdered in this attack, which has been confirmed by the US Armed Forces. These claim that three men who entered the house after being seen digging a hole were classified as a threat to civilians and military forces.

The answer? Murder the whole family. Who is the threat to civilians, after all? The owner of the house, Ghadban Nahd Hassan declared to the press that fourteen members of his family had been inside the house when it was precision-bombed by the pilot at 21.30 MSK.

What sort of military forces are those which target women and children because an unmanned drone has spotted some people digging a hole? After the cases of torture, the shooting of wounded soldiers, the strafing and bombing of civilian areas, the deployment of cluster bombs in residential complexes and the purposeful and wanton destruction of civilian infrastructures in a “war” without a legal casus belli, the Bush regime just goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on.
