Criminal case on murder of eight frontier guards initiated

A criminal case for article 105 (murder) of the Russian Criminal Code hasbeen filed because of the death of eight Russian frontier guards on theIngush part of the Russian-Georgian border, the Interior Ministry of theIngush Republic told RBC. The main suspects are two missing soldiers andthe criminal case was filed against them. The investigation on this case isbeing carried out by the military prosecutor's office of the RussianFederal Border Service.As it was reported earlier, a reconnaissance group of the Nazran frontierdetachment found bodies of eight frontier guards on the border post Zasadaon August 24. Another two soldiers were missing. These ten frontier guardsstarted patrolling the border at night August 23 and they did not contacttheir headquarters on August 24..
